UCSF Space Committee

The UCSF Space Committee (previously designated as the Space Development Committee) discusses and advises the Chancellor on policy-related decisions associated with oversight of the following topics:

  • building and occupancy planning
  • strategic space governance policy
  • strategic space allocation decisions to the Chancellor's Cabinet, and
  • ad hoc strategic space planning groups, such as the UCSF 2030 Task Force.

The Space Committee will be advised by the UCSF Space Management Subcommittee and the UCSF New Space Development Subcommittee. • implementation of space governance policy campuswide,
  • oversight of individual buildings governance committees that manage space allocation and building use, and
  • oversight of school space committees’ implementation of space policy at the school level.
