Project Overview

UCSF has implemented Archibus, a new space management and inventory system for the campus that provides improved reporting and analytics to decision makers. The Medical Center and Campus are now using the same Space Management System.The project entailed extensive process redesign work to ensure UCSF has processes to maintain accurate space data. Project Goals

  • Implement end-to-end space systems that encompass technology, business processes and reporting to enable UCSF to manage space as a strategic asset.
  • Inspire a cultural shift at UCSF towards an environment of transparency and collaboration as it relates to space management.

Campus End User Roles in Archibus

Coordinator: Department level space manager.  Ability to update space information for assigned departments and access reports for all space information.

Strategist: Control Point level oversight of space management.  Ability to update space information for assigned control point and access reports for all space information.

Report Reader: Read only access to all space information and reports.
